NewsFORT LAUDERDALE, FL — June 2026 — ChildSafe.dev, Inc. today announced the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Emirates Safer Internet Society (e-Safe) and Algorethics AI Software Technology, establishing a framework for cooperation and evaluation relating to digital child safety initiatives in the United Arab Emirates.
Under the agreement, e-Safe and Algorethics will explore collaboration involving SafeShield™, a privacy-preserving, on-device digital safeguarding technology developed by ChildSafe.dev and licensed to Algorethics for evaluation and deployment activities within the UAE. The MoU provides a structure for knowledge exchange, advisory review, and the potential design of future evaluation initiatives, subject to applicable regulatory approvals, institutional requirements, and separate written agreements.
The agreement reflects a shared interest in advancing digital child safety while maintaining strong privacy protections. SafeShield is designed to perform analysis locally on a device without transmitting student content externally as part of its normal operation. The technology is intended to support schools, families, and institutions in addressing online risks while aligning with applicable privacy and safeguarding requirements.
The MoU also establishes a framework for exploring the potential inclusion of ShieldConnect™, ChildSafe.dev's connected family and institutional safety platform, as a complementary component of future UAE initiatives. Any evaluation, pilot, or deployment activity would be subject to separate agreements and all applicable regulatory and institutional approval processes.
"We are pleased to see SafeShield included in a structured evaluation framework with one of the UAE's leading organizations focused on digital safety," said Robert McNamara, Chief Executive Officer of ChildSafe.dev. "The agreement provides an opportunity to explore how privacy-first child safeguarding technologies may support the UAE's ongoing efforts in digital wellbeing and child protection while respecting local regulatory and institutional requirements."
The MoU is non-exclusive and does not create a partnership, joint venture, commercial commitment, or deployment obligation for either party. Any future pilot, deployment, or commercial arrangement would require separate written agreements and completion of all required vendor-vetting, compliance, and approval processes.
